This is a normal and necessary process. However, sometimes adhesions form around the scar: the connective tissue then attaches to surrounding structures such as muscles, organs, or nerves. This can lead to tension, movement restrictions, or even complaints in a completely different part of the body.   <\/p><p><strong><span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" data-token-index=\"0\">Types of surgeries where scar treatment can be beneficial:<br><\/span><\/strong>Whether it concerns scar tissue following endometriosis, abdominal surgery, a cesarean section, an inguinal hernia, or another procedure: it is often valuable to have this area osteopathically assessed. This improves circulation, lymphatic drainage, and cooperation between different parts of the body.
