“My greatest motivation is the satisfaction when people can move freely again”

about me
I am Bert ‘t Hart, an osteopath with more than ten years of experience as a physiotherapist. My fascination with the human body and the gratitude of my patients make me do my work with pleasure and dedication every day.
My journey as a therapist began with physiotherapy training in 2011. After working as a physiotherapist for several years, I discovered that the possibilities within this field were often limited and that I wanted to mean more to people.
That insight gained new momentum when I came into contact with Brian Mulligan’s Mulligan method. I saw how people who had been limited by pain for years could move freely again within minutes. That experience made me realize that much more is possible than I had learned up to that point.
That marked the beginning of my quest to discover what else is possible. That quest led me to osteopathy training, a choice that fundamentally changed my view of the human body. I discovered a way of working that goes beyond just treating symptoms, and that gave me a deeper insight into coherence, recovery, and the body’s self-healing ability.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to work with therapist Folkert Rikkert de Koe for two years. His vision of the body and his way of treating patients were a great inspiration to me and played an important role in my development as a therapist. This period gave me the confidence and motivation to further deepen my knowledge through targeted courses and training programs. This allowed me to further refine my craftsmanship and gradually develop my own vision and treatment method.
Although my approach largely aligns with osteopathic principles, I have incorporated my own nuances and work with a broad mix of techniques from different treatment methods. It was therefore a logical step for me to start my own practice, where I can fully apply this personal approach.
Through my experience and additional training, I can help people better and better. That satisfaction is my greatest motivation and motivates me to continuously develop further.
I recently started the two-year Integrated Techniques training program by Frank de Bakker, in which I am studying the application of embryonic development principles within osteopathic practice.
Outside of my work, I am also involved in health, movement, and the human body. Sports and exercise have played an important role in my life for years; I play soccer, work out, and enjoy being outdoors in nature with my girlfriend and friends. Nutrition has long been of interest to me, and in recent years I have become increasingly interested in strengthening my vitality, including through meditation and breathing exercises.
The support and trust of the people around me give me the energy and space to do my work with full attention and pleasure.
